Dukes of Hazzard TV show has been PULLED FROM RUNNING ! Now people want to SIDE WITH BOSS HOGG, while saying they are AGAINST racism??????!!
Dukes of Hazzard TV show has been PULLED FROM RUNNING !
TV Land (the classic show channel) should now be boycotted.
Freedom in the United States is now officially dead, killed by political correctness…… and if you don’t say something, you’re to blame for allowing the madness to continue..
This “jail” is our society now, not just a physical place, but all over our country.. imprisoned by peoples “democracy + mob rule”. Banning anything that offends, and forcing people to abide by some unwritten law of “correctness”.
Now even moving to remove symbols from history that people find offensive!!!
Good job guys… censoring history you don’t like…. really proves you are what we always said you were. Thin skinned, weak minded fascists who can’t take any critique, or dissent!
You “banning lovers” are betrayers of freedom, and fascists who only allow opinions which agree with your Point of view…. if you disagree with the majority.. guess what… you’re no longer protected as a free person with rights to think what you want.
If you think differently, you’ll be publicly shamed, banned, harassed, and even in some cases threatened…. take it from me.. it’s happened just because I say something contrary to popular opinion.
It will happen to you too at some point.. but then it will be too late.. right now is your only chance to stop it.
How do you stop it? Expose it, and speak up about how lame it is.
Shame these people doing this insanity.
They’re no better than slave owners, and nazi fascists who only allow those who agree, and those who don’t resist to exist.
Banning the Dukes of Hazzard because of the Confederate flag? Don’t people know that Bo and Duke actually FOUGHT THE CORRUPT COPS?
SMH @ siding with the keystone cops, and Boss Hogg !
Bo and Luke Duke are no longer flying through Hazzard County on TV Land.
The network has pulled episodes of “The Dukes of Hazzard” from its schedule, a spokesperson for TV Land confirmed on Wednesday.
The network would not comment further on whether reruns of the series were pulled due to its inclusion of a 1969 Dodge Charger known as the “General Lee” which has the Confederate battle flag painted on its roof.
In the wake of the murders at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina, the flag has become a major point of contention.
Since the “General Lee” is one of the most famous cars in TV history the series has been added to that argument.
The show (which is distributed by Warner Bros., a unit of Time Warner (TWX) like CNN) ran during the early 1980s and has gained a solid cult fan base.
TV Land, which is owned by Viacom (VIA), pulling the series comes a week after Warner Bros. consumer products said that it would stop licensing General Lee toy cars and models.

Ben Jones, a former U.S. congressman and actor who played the character Cooter on the series, has defended the use of the flag on the show.
“I think all of Hazzard Nation understands that the Confederate Battle flag is the symbol that represents the indomitable spirit of independence which keeps us ‘makin’ our way the only way we know how,’” Jones wrote on his Facebook echoing the series’ theme song.
Jones then added he would fight for the right to sell the flag.
“I will fight these people until hell freezes over,” Jones wrote. “And then I will fight them on the ice.”
